2018 Lobstah Classic
This year was another great meeting. We started the day with our silent auction. Members and visitors donate plants, art and anything else of interest. Visitors to the event are free to mingle, enjoy some coffee or tea, chat and catch up with friends and bid, bid, bid!
This year we had around 105 items to browse through.

ur first speaker was Chuck Doughty from Cochato Nursery in Holbrook Massachusetts.

After lunch, Mike Georges from Ontario de
scribed his breeding program which focuses on toothy cultivars
Following our speakers, we held a live auction of club-purchased and donated daylilies and hostas. As is tradition, we finished the day with a Maine “lobstah” dinner overlooking Casco Bay. Thank you to everyone who came, donated, spoke, and assisted the days events. We also would like to thank SMCC, Sodexo, and Dock’s Restaurant. See you again in 2019!
