We had a great turnout for Saturday’s meeting. Welcome to the new members and visitors that attended.

Lori-Ann Jones of Knoll Cottage Daylilies visited town. Her presentation featured her gardening philosophy and planning for color. She also showed photos of numerous gardens from Regional and National meetings. The photographs featured lots of beautiful daylilies and hostas.

Following the first presentation, we had our spring pot-luck. Thank you to everyone who brought culinary contributions to the meeting!

Lori than showed a brief presentation of her newest seedlings. You can keep current with Lori’s seedlings by viewing her Knoll Cottage Blog. Lori-Ann also donated three plants for the daylily display bed: Whip City Dapper Dan, Whip City Lisa Diana and Whip City Judy Judy Judy

Our next event is our club sale on Sunday, May 20th. This is a 50/50 sale and helps the club to bring in speakers for the coming year. So, if you have plants to divide, be they hosta, daylilies or other plants, please consider bringing them in for sale on the 20th.
